“Children can now take advantage of a unique window of opportunity whereby they
can acquire language skills in a first and second language, in an effortless, natural
manner. This window of opportunity to acquire language naturally occurs from birth
through six years of age. Children and teachers alike start moving to the familiar Latin
rhythms singing and signing as they move to the beat”.

"I attended a conference Gloria Rojas gave about using sign language in early childhood education to help
children to communicate, especially for English language learners. I LOVED it. It was the best conference I've been
to so far in terms of learning new information I've actually used. Gloria is entertaining and upbeat, and has a giant
wealth of knowledge for this topic-- and she shares it in a comprehensible way so that everybody can understand
what she's talking about. I have used ASL with my son since he was 10m old and he spoke sooner than any other
boy I know. When I couldn't understand his words, I could understand his signs, so I was able to give him whatever he wanted, and that encouraged him to speak and sign more. We play Gloria's Chakuchukuchá CD in the car all the time and Oliver sings and signs right along. I will definitely use these songs in my classroom when I am teaching this year. What a great way to learn Spanish and English-- by singing the same tunes side by side in each language! The rhythms are catchy, the tunes are all different and fun, and every song teaches the child specific concepts and verbal skills. Excellent!"

"Gloria Rojas presented a conference related to early childhood children with special needs focusing on communication. Gloria has a unique way to connect her songs by using sign language. Her music and sign language give the children an opportunity to connect the meaning of the words and concepts. The beat of her music makes people dance and smile. I believe Gloria Rojas’ songs are very helpful for little children who are experiencing difficulties in communicating verbally. I am very happy to experience Gloria's songs. I will be using them in my early childhood classroom. Well done Gloria!!!!!!!!!"
